Project Comet | BA Yr 3 Final Project

This project was a test to see how I might approach designing a number of different concepts together to produce a bigger scene. I designed a character, environment and background for this piece. The origin of this project was that during my final year of the BA we were approached by a number of teams from USW Newport with some great game ideas. All of them were conceptually interesting, the one I was interested in was named Comet's Tale, a puzzle game about using mirrors (Link http://www.indiedb.com/games/comets-tale/images) ; I felt like I could match what they wanted and went to work immediately on character concepts. However, after a week of concepting I wasn't able to make contact with them to work on the project. I redirected the project and went for a point and click adventure game instead with inspirations including theme parks and children's book illustrations. with a different direction, I continued to concept. This is the result.
